| Ashstar had just became the leader of StoneClan not too long ago. Her old leader, Jadestar, had died after being attacked by a badger. Her father was Jadestar's deputy, and he trained her himself. She became deputy with her training, and then she had to take over for Jadestar.
She let her claws sheathe and unsheathe themselves nervously. Oh the anticipation of it all, with Leaf Bare, members dying off, she found herself alone in StoneClan. She needed new members fast, just some kits of her own even to get the Clan going once more.
But there was no one to be her mate... oh how she wished it would be okay to fall in love with other Clan members. All there was left was the leaders of the three Clans ever since greencough flew through her Clan and killed off all of the StoneClan members. She knew that there was a fire in ShadeClan but she chose not to look to BleedingClan. She would try to befriend the leader, Ravenstar, but she knew she could never ally with him, be it come to war ever between the Clans.
There was nothing to do. On full moons, she would look down on no one, only turn to see two other male cats. Ravenstar, Lionstar, there was nobody left besides them. She wanted to meet them, she wanted to have friends. Meeting at the border or The Four Trees. She had never been so lonely. She had never been so lonely in her entire life... (First postie! YAY!  )
